Before the Supreme Court’s nomination hearing for Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson begins on Monday, Friday Covid-infected version Of ABC Scene Jackson features three co-hosts avoiding the apparent evidence of easy access to sex offenders and child pornography traffickers. Instead, they came to his defense, arguing that he would “surpass everyone” in the “very literal sense” of the conservative judges nominated by former President Trump.
“What a crazy Republican, like Josh Hawley [R-MO] Already on the bench trying to derail his path, claiming that there are some incidents in the past that show that he gave up sex offenders very easily. And he questioned the protection of Guantanamo detainees, which is the law, “said co-host Hopi Goldberg.
Goldberg, who recently claimed that the Holocaust was “not about race,” asked Howley to pick a book and be educated about public defenders. “It simply came to our notice then. If you are detained, we must provide you with a lawyer to make sure you are not being detained on the railways! That’s the law! All you have to do is look at it, “he sneered.
“I remind people who Josh Howley is,” announced so-called conservative co-host Anna Navarro, raising her fist in the air. “Josh Howley is the man who, you know, spread the big lie, who was – one of the instigators of the January 6 uprising.” Navarro then made two swipes to Justice Brett Kavanagh.
“Although I remind you, you are investigating him for legal issues. You are not checking her for sexual harassment or abuse, “said Tariq al-Hashimi, the party’s secretary general. He spit; Adding later: “He has to keep calm and answer calmly and with substance because he – because who he is, will not be free from the cries that Kavanagh has made. “
Just as a reminder, the allegations of sexual misconduct against Kavanagh were completely fabricated. There is no evidence that any of them happened and some people named as alleged witnesses said that the incidents never happened. And the current judge was just upset that the left and the media were trying to ruin his life with lies.
To bring things back to Jackson, guest co-host Ebony K. Williams suggested that race was the only reason to verify his record. “But Huppy, let’s not pretend we don’t know what it is. You know which bus is always on time, ”he asked frankly. “Which indicates the qualification of black women in this country. And that bus is never late. “
“Based on just the people, they’ve put in the last three. You know, this is a woman who can – who can surpass every one of those people.” Goldberg added when he wanted to express his displeasure with conservative judges. “Her ability is outstanding. I mean, she’s outstanding. So, you put Amy Connie Barrett, you put the other one, you know, and you’re questioning her?”
Williams agreed, suggesting that Jackson would “literally” overtake them.
Following Justice Amy Connie Barrett’s suggestion that an intellectual is not equal and that Jackson was almost unqualified, Goldberg predicted that Republican lawmakers would look like fools. Jackson flipped through his notes:
Now, I hope they all remember I hope they remember their law when they question him because, you know, he’ll be with them. [Flipping through cards] ‘Oh no. Blah blah blah blah. Oh well. Blah blah blah blah blah. You didn’t know that? All you had to do was see it. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. ‘
In fact, Barrett did not bring any notes with him to his confirmation hearing. And he has an iconic picture holding an empty notepad.
This was made possible by Judge Jackson’s defense and the lucrative sponsorship of conservative judges, Smear Prevegen and Mr Klein. Their contact information is attached.

HUPEY GOLDBERG: What madness is Republicans, like Josh Howley already trying to derail his path on the bench, claim that past events show he released sex offenders too easily and he took up the issue of protecting Guantanamo detainees, which is the law.
Ebony K. Williams: Literally.
Goldberg: It’s literally law! If you are detained, we must provide you with a lawyer to make sure you are not being detained on the railways! That’s the law! You have to see what you have to do! A. So, you know, I mean I know they’re going to make it harder and find dumb things, but non-lawyers – don’t lawyers do that? Does this work?
Williams: You know, Hoopi, I’m a former public defender, shouting at public defenders who don’t get enough credit. First, if this justice is upheld, he will be the first federal public defender to serve in the United States Supreme Court. All right?
And so we see that as much as we love our constitution and all patriots say that you don’t actually subscribe to the Sixth Amendment to the Constitution – in your opinion, HUPI – because if you do, every single citizen gets legal representation. This is according to due process, and as of 2008, the Supreme Court has said that the same applies to those prisoners.
So, if you’re going to start cherry-picking and I hate it, ladies. When I was practicing as a defense lawyer in both private practice and defender, I always found, ‘How can you protect these people, Ibn? You know what they did. What kind of lawyer takes such a case? ‘
I’ll tell you what kind. That kind of loves this country. That kind of believes in freedom and justice and freedom for all. The kind that believes you are still considered innocent in this nation until you are convicted, and the kind of cherry-picking who doesn’t believe in justice. It’s not just people who have information that makes me feel warm and vague. The promise of the right system of advice and defense is available for every single individual.
I am so excited to see this black woman confirmed to our Supreme Court of the United States.

Anna Navarro: Let me remind you of Josh Howley. [Raises fist in the air] Josh Howley is the man who, you know, preached the big lie, who was – one of the instigators of the January 7 uprising. So I don’t think he’s got the moral position to talk about the Constitution, obviously, because if you can’t defend democracy and you can’t defend election results, you really don’t have much moral position.

Navarro: And so it’s very important, and I hope he shows his medal. We found his intellectual breadth, his judicial temperament, his character, his record, so go ahead. Go ahead and question him, verify him. Let me remind you though, you are checking him out on legal issues. You are not checking her sexual harassment or abuse.
Williams: Oops
Navarro: So, this is a very different kind of scrutiny, and if they find it to Judge Jackson, I think he can answer it, and he should, and I hope there are some Republican senators who pick up the country and history. Assume – the historical significance of the first black woman before bias, and if they believe she has the temperament, intelligence and qualifications, then they should vote on that basis.
Goldberg: Based on just the people, they’ve got the last three. You know, this is a woman who can – who can surpass every one of those people.
Williams: Very literal.
Goldberg: His ability is outstanding. I mean, she’s outstanding. So, you put Amy Connie Barrett in, you put someone else in, you know, and you’re questioning her?
Williams: But Hoopi, let’s not pretend we don’t know what it is. Do you know there is always time to live? It directs the qualification of black women in this country. And that bus is never late.
Goldberg: It’s not too late.
Williams: It’s never too late.
And I want to say this: based on the fact that this will be the only Supreme Court judge – the last three examples we’ve got from you – who will be convinced by the bipartisan nature – I’m sorry he’s already at the U.S. Senate appeals stage, he’s ungrateful. Let me record that.
Goldberg: It’s scary to them. And it’s like, if you say you want to be brilliant, the greatest that we have, he represents that perfect.
Navarro: I’ll tell you what he has to do.
Goldberg: What does he have to do?
Navarro: She has to keep calm and answer calmly and answer because she – because of who she is, will not get rid of the cry that Kavanagh did.
Goldberg: Ah, no. We don’t get to do it. No. We can’t do that. We have to be strong and say, you know? Bring it. He is ready for you!
