Joy Reed has been in a recession due to GOP senators questioning Judge Jackson

With just five minutes left in MSNBC’s Joy Reid’s show, after the U.S. Senate confirmation hearing for the nomination of Judge Ketanji Brown ended in the Supreme Court on Tuesday, Readout, To suppress as much venom and hatred as he can against Republicans. For his achievements, he was successful. Within five minutes, he had to respond to Tuesday’s hearing by repeatedly calling Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) a “thug” and accusing Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) of failing to attend law school classes at Harvard.

After the Senate Judiciary Committee left the session for the night, the camera turned to Reed to introduce his guests and give them their initial response to the day’s testimony. Former U.S. Attorney Harry Litman was the first to respond and demanded the last hour of Jackson’s testimony. “It was the best time I had ever seen him at a confirmation hearing. He took the line to ask Cotton the whole nonsense and foolish question and gave him the perfect mood.”

Reed agreed to the prediction, before the word he uttered “Tom Cotton will be used as a joker. I thought he was a thug.” Litman prevents Reed from calling Cotton “I say” And a “Cretin.”

Later, in the unbroken section, Reid insulted the Conservatives who rightly referred to the author of the 1619 project, Abram Kennedy, as a critical race theorist. “Stupid and liar.” Reed shouted “Abram X. Candy is not a critical race theorist. And anyone who says he is a fool or a liar.”

He then vented his anger against Senator Cruz “Presumably, Ted Cruz went to law school, obviously, only Ketanzi was in the Brown-Jackson class, and he probably slept by skipping classes because he didn’t know what critical race theory was.”

Didn’t stop with Reed Cruz. He then asked Senator Josh Howley (R-MO) Jackson about his sympathy for the pedophile, before venting his anger against all the GOP senators who dared to ask Jackson’s tough questions:

Josh Howley, who had nothing to say and fully supported Brett Kavanagh. They claim to be the guardians of the integrity of childhood. They are going after child pornography and rape. And they are going to protect the integrity of childhood.

Brett Kavanagh was credibly accused of rape and the victims were teenage girls and college students. High school and college students! So Josh Howley, and Ted Cruz and Lindsay Graham and the rest of you, and Mike Lee, and Tom Thugish Cotton. You have not protected the juvenile predators of the person you have happily placed in the Supreme Court for life. You can’t say anything about Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson. He has made you the best intellectually and you are crazy about it. Go crazy!

Of course, accusing Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanagh of credible rape is a complete blunt lie. Reid was clearly chomping at the bit to get in the air and go ballistic on Republican senators who wanted to use their constitutional responsibility to question the Supreme Court nominee. He knows he has no intellectual response to Justice Jackson’s remarks Sympathetic to pedophiles So he had to lie against Justice Kavanagh.

Joy Reed: Join me now to talk about this second day confirmation hearing for the very good, very kind, very steadfast Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson. And very good man Senator Corey Booker just rolled it up. Thank God for an up note. Joining me now are former federal prosecutor Paul Butler and former U.S. Attorney Harry Litman.

(…)

Harry Litman: It was hard for him today, but this last hour I think – I think – I was a little disturbed by an emotional reaction. But I think it’s the best hour I’ve ever seen in a confirmation hearing. He took the line of Cotton’s complete nonsense and stupid questioning and stuck him out with the perfect mood. And then with Booker I found it to be completely real, moving, dignified, emotional. I really think the best hour I’ve ever seen for any of the nominees to sort on both sides of the corridor. And I’ve been watching this for a while.

REID: I have to agree with you I agree. I’m not an expert like you, Harry. But I agree. And the term I would use for Tom Cotton was Thug. I thought he was a thug. That’s what I’m going to go with.

Litman: Bully! Cretin!

REID: Thagish! I want to go to you, Paul. These people thought of themselves as prosecutors today but Tom Cotton did not realize that there is no name, no victim and no crime. There is no one to contact her, I thought it was embarrassing. I thought Lindsay Graham was screaming and weird. I mean, it was a performance. Josh Howley, ridiculous. But your thoughts.

(…)

REID: And yet, they still think that Abram Candy is a critical race theorist. I asked him. He doesn’t. They do not know what critical race theory is. They’re not smart enough. Presumably, Ted Cruz went to law school, apparently, only Ketanji was in the Brown-Jackson class, and he probably slept by skipping classes because he didn’t know what critical race theory was. Abram X. Candy is not a critical race theorist. And whoever says he is a fool or a liar. I have to say and I guess I’ll throw it to you, Harry. What bothered me the most about watching it today was the men, and I would especially say Josh Howley, who had nothing to say and who fully supported Brett Kavanagh. Go crazy!
