Six teams reach IHSAA Boys Basketball State Final for the first time –

IndianapolisThe 111th IHSAA Boys Basketball State Final will be held Saturday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis.
Four matches are scheduled. Six of the eight teams on the field made it to the state finals for the first time (North Davis, Providence, Central Nobel, Beach Grove, Mishawaka Marian and Chesterton).
"It simply came to our notice then. I told the coaches that it was special, but keep it simple. Understand how big the stage is, but don't be afraid of the stage. Make sure you prepare your team and do what you get here. Have fun with it along the way, ”said Paul Nidig, commissioner of the Indiana High School Athletic Association.
Kovid was banned during the last two boys' basketball state championships, but this time he won't. You have the option of wearing a mask if you want.
"It looks normal. It looks normal and we want to keep it that way. Our kids deserve to play in front of a full house and enthusiastic crowd," Nidig said.
