Five years ago, I argued that President Trump defended the planet by canceling the Paris Climate Agreement. The Trump administration has abandoned the promise of heavy-handed government orders to empower individuals to make their own choices. That was the right call: individual action ৃত broad-based clearly outlined as the best strategy for tackling climate change and other issues. A year later, I defended the Trump administration again, praising Republicans because personal empowerment ছাড়া without federal intervention কাজ was working in a government-demonstrated manner. By 2018, U.S. carbon dioxide emissions were at their lowest point since 1992. Carbon emissions per capita have been at their lowest level since 1950 ছাড় surpassing our European allies. Fast-forward to 2022, and NewsFlash: President Trump’s actions against government coercion have proved to be the right thing to do. He is still right about climate change. Under the Trump administration, U.S. greenhouse gas emissions were so low that even the liberal media noticed. In 2020, the United States generated six billion metric tons of emissions – about 10 percent less than in 2019 and the same as in the early 1980s. Pollution has decreased, leaving the United States only as the 10th largest per capita pollutant in the world. Not ideal, but a significant improvement and still better than the choices of Australia and Canada. With more than 100 environmental regulations in place, President Trump has successfully addressed the causes. Environmental protection: We consider Americans appropriate by allowing recycling, reduction and reuse, and driving market demand for economic change. He even gave a lot to celebrate left-wing climate-change activists. This raises the question: what does federal climate regulation achieve other than reducing economic activity and killing jobs? Pollution has decreased because of individual-market-demands. Government rules are a process for guilty liberals who can do nothing on their own while complying with the rest of us. It also sets an artificial level where the economy declines instead of allowing competitive pressures to push the green-centric economy upwards.
