President Trump is holding a rally in the Detroit area on April 2. Trump has backed Michigan nominee Matthew DiParno for the post of attorney general and Christina Karamo for Michigan secretary of state.

The rally will be held at the Michigan Stars Sports Center in McComb County, Washington.

Former President Donald Trump announced Friday that he plans to hold a rally in suburban Detroit on April 2 to support the candidates he has fielded in this year’s Michigan election.

Trump will head a rally at the Michigan Stars Sports Center in Washington Township, McComb County, at 7 p.m.

Trump is backing Matthew DiParno as attorney general and Christina Karamo as foreign secretary. Both are vying for the GOP nomination on April 23 when Republican delegates will support the nominees at a state conference in Grand Rapids.

General admission tickets for the event are available on donaldjtrump.com website.

The event will mark Trump’s first visit to Michigan since the night before the November 2020 presidential election.
