Rick Santelli, CNBC’s on-air editor, did this with the Biden administration’s gaslighting on skyrocketing inflation in the US economy.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics released a report on March 10 showing that inflation rose to 7.9 percent year-on-year in February, the highest level in more than 40 years, and slightly exceeded expectations.
The petrol price index, which rose 6.6 percent, was cited as the “biggest contributor to the growth of all seasonally consistent items” and “responsible for about one-third of the monthly growth of all items,” the report said.
After reciting the devastating inflation numbers in the March 10 edition Squawk boxSantelli then slammed President Joe Biden’s growing rhetoric on inflation and accused him of politicizing the issue.
“It’s going to be tough for the administration,” Santelli said. “Nothing has been politicized except inflation.” He went on to list the Liberals’ excuses over the past few months: “First, it was’ temporary. ‘ Then, ‘Inflation is good.’ Then we went to ‘corporate greed’, now we are in Putin.
Santelli analyzes that “no matter how you tear it to pieces,” products like energy are driving up inflationary pressures. “King Commodity is energy, and most people in the United States are reminded of what happens every three to four days when they go to fill their tanks.”
This is not the first time that Santeli has spoken out against the liberal media’s response to inflation. He called on the Federal Reserve to tighten its monetary policy on February 10. Santelli reveals: “Where is the hardening? Give me a break! We have 25 to zero. They’re still buying. “He continued:” I can’t see any tension. I can’t imagine you have a microscope bigger than me. ” He will not give up: “The Fed has done nothing! The Fed did nothing! Blah blah blah blah blah.
