No reports of Russian troops in the air in Ukraine have met with real resistance. Now the Russians have launched their hypersonic missiles into Ukraine.
The U.S. military says a car bomb had exploded at an Iraqi police recruiting center at Kisak, west of Mosul.
Russian forces in Ukraine have claimed to have used an air-powered hypersonic missile for the first time in the war on Saturday, hitting a Ukrainian weapons depot.
Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenko said in a statement to the Russian state-run Russia Today that Russian forces had fired a Kinzhal hypersonic missile at a weapons depot near the village of Deliatin in western Ukraine. If true, the launch would be the first time the missile has been deployed in combat.
Russia’s Defense Ministry has tweeted that a weapons depot belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been destroyed in a high-precision missile attack. “We can see the exact impact of an underground hangar with weapons and ammunition.”
