The James Henry Provision Store is located in downtown St. Louis, near the Federal Reserve Bank, Missouri Athletic Club and Budget Motel.
On Tuesday, two men entered the store and started putting bottles of liquor in their pants. When the store staff asked people to return the bottles, one of the suspects pulled out a gun and told the clerks to open the locked door and let him out.
The robbers then waited three hours, until 1:30 a.m. to reach a sender.
St. Louis has been under Democrat control for decades.

Victims snatched at gunpoint at a downtown convenience store waited about three hours to reach a 911 sender on Tuesday.
N. The robbery took place at 10:25 a.m. at the James Henry Provision Store in the 400 block of 4th Street, but police sources familiar with the investigation said it was not reported to police until about 1:30 p.m.
The victims told police they could not reach the 911 sender for three hours because all their calls went by voicemail, according to sources.
The victims informed the police that two persons entered the shop towards the liquor section. One of the victims saw a man with some liquor bottles in his pants, so he approached the man and asked him to return the bottles. The man then ran out of the shop.
The victim then locks the shop door, so the other man who is with the suspected thief cannot leave and takes a bottle from him. The man then pointed a gun at a convenience store employee and told him to open the door or he would shoot him, the victim told police.

Mayor Tishaura Jones said several efforts were being made to reduce waiting times by October, with plans to integrate the city’s three dispatch centers – police, fire and EMS – under one roof.
